The Texas Police Star: CLEAT/NAPO lobby Congress for collective bargaining

WASHINGTON, D.C. — CLEAT is actively lobbying Congress to pass the national collective bargaining bill for first responders.HR 413, known as the Public Safety Employer-Employee Coop-eration Act, has long been the focus of CLEAT and the National Association of Police Organizations. CLEAT has made many trips to the nation’s Capitol working to explain and advo- cate on behalf of this measure — the most recent being in May by Vice President Lee Jackson and in June by CLEAT’s Public Affairs Division.
