The Texas Police Star: Cleat Opens Rio Grande Valley Office

In a dramatic step, the CLEAT Executive Board met on December 3rd and voted to open a full service office in the Rio Grande Valley. The office located at 1939 West Owassa Road in Edinburg will open on January 1st. The facility includes an office for the CLEAT field services staff, 2 conference rooms, a membership meeting room, and a special event area.

For over 35 years CLEAT has been well known in south Texas. In fact, CLEAT was formed in San Antonio and opened its first office there in the 1970’s. Some of the first and largest local police unions to join CLEAT came from that area of the state.
