CLEAT NOW OFFERS TCLEOSE-CREDITED TRAINING TO MEMBERS
CLEAT President Todd Harrison made a major announcement today that CLEAT will now be offering TCLEOSE-credited training for members on an on-going basis. “TCLEOSE training is a very important part of the services that we provide to our members,” Harrison said, “and we intend to offer an array of training subjects to members.” Harrison noted that CLEAT Director of Special Projects Rick Self will oversee the training program.
CLEAT’s first program will be the Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace at Work seminar, which has already been certified by TCLEOSE. Dave Ramsey is a nationally syndicated talk-show host and best-selling author on financial matters. This program is the most comprehensive, financial educational program on the market today.
“CLEAT realizes that our members are going through stressful financial times,” Harrison said, “so at considerable expense to our organization we sent 2 staff members, Susan Collins, Director of Finance and Rick Self, Director of Special Projects, to the Ramsey instructor course in Nashville.” Harrison noted that CLEAT will be partnering with local police associations around the state to offer the Ramsey course to officers. Courses have already been set in February for San Antonio and Mesquite. TCLEOSE has credited 24 hours for completion of the course.
CLEAT is committed to helping our members reach both their professional and personal goals. In addition to the Ramsey course, CLEAT will be offering courses in leadership and other professional subjects for TCLEOSE credit.
