We believe that every law enforcement officer in Texas should be covered by a collective bargaining agreement. We have been on the front lines in securing this protection, pursuing collective bargaining rights in the Texas Legislature, and have helped a number of local associations win bargaining referendums. We represent 95 percent of the associations that currently have the right to bargain in Texas.

With a statewide network, membership representing nearly 100 affiliates, and an unswerving dedication to serving the interests of its members and of the entire Texas law enforcement community, CLEAT is a major force in labor negotiations. CLEAT has also assisted 100’s of local associations in gaining civil service rights, pay increases and other employment rights matters through local referendum elections.
