From here you can keep up to date on the issues being debated during the 81st Session of the Texas Legislature. CLEAT will track all bills filed that affect law enforcement. These bills will be broken down into tracking reports. From these reports, you can read the text of the bills and find the current status of the bills.

Below are tracking lists of the bills we are monitoring during the session.

  • CLEAT Bills - Lists the current status of our bills.

  • Opposed Bills - Lists the current status of all bills we oppose.

  • Supported Bills - Lists the current status of all bills we support.

  • Watch List - Lists the current status of bills we are watching, but haven't taken a formal position on yet.
