From here, you can check out the issues that were debated during the 82nd Session of the Texas Legislature.  CLEAT tracks all bills filed that affect law enforcement. These bills are broken down into tracking reports. From these reports, you can read the text of the bills and see the final status of each bill.

CLEAT monitored a number of bills during the 2011 Legislative Session. Below are links to bills that passed in each of the listed subjects.

  • CLEAT Bills - Lists the current status of our bills.
  • Opposed Bills – Lists the current status of all bills we oppose.
  • Supported Bills – Lists the current status of all bills we support.
  • Watch List – Lists the current status of bills we are watching, but haven’t taken a formal position on yet.
  • Alerts – Lists bills that we are tracking with some type of activity in the previous 24-hour period.
  • Law Enforcement Labor – Lists the current status of law enforcement labor bills, including civil service and bargaining bills we are tracking.
