And Now That CLEAT Has Passed 18,000 Members…
CLEAT recently passed the 18,000 member mark and those persons responsible for this result – our Executive Board, staff, and local leadership, should be praised for their dedication and hard work. This remarkable achievement has taken place during a weak economy and union membership constriction in Texas and across the nation. And unlike our competitors, this membership number is real, not some fictional number pulled out of thin air in an effort to bamboozle Texas law enforcement officers.
CLEAT, however, has never been an organization that rests on its laurels. There are still more services and benefits that we improve upon or put into place so that our members can continue to be proud of their CLEAT membership. Read More »

The Ride for the Fallen Motorcycle Ride will be held on Saturday, April 30th.
The Candlelight Vigil will be held on Sunday, May 1st at 7:00 pm.
The Statewide Memorial Service will be held on May 2nd at 11:00 am on the South steps of the State Capitol.

The CLEAT Field Services Division consisting of Field Representatives and Organizers met for an in-service training session on March 4th. These training sessions which are held three to five times a year are designed to keep the field representatives and organizers informed to new trends, programs, legislative issues and innovative ways to provide services for CLEAT Members and their organizations.
