Dr. Brandi Burque is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in police psychology and officer wellness. Throughout her career, she has served veterans, military personnel, and law enforcement professionals, with leadership roles at the San Antonio Police Department and the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office. Her nationally recognized Performance & Recovery Optimization (PRO) framework was highlighted by the U.S. Department of Justice as an innovative model for officer wellness.

Today, Dr. Burque continues advancing resilience and performance readiness for first responders through her work with SAPD and by consulting with law enforcement agencies across the country. A frequent national speaker, including at the FBI National Academy, she is dedicated to equipping officers with practical tools to strengthen mental wellness, navigate critical incidents, and sustain long-term success both on and off the job.

Greg Cummins is an 18-year veteran of the San Antonio Police Department, where he serves on the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team as the unit’s training coordinator and a member of the Sniper/Observer element. He is also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) specializing in the treatment of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health conditions, bringing a unique perspective that bridges law enforcement and behavioral health.

In addition to his clinical work, Greg collaborates with SAPD Psychological Services and the department’s Wellness Unit to provide training on nutrition, psychology, and neuroscience as they relate to officer performance and resilience. He holds master’s degrees in Public Administration and Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with additional graduate studies in Educational Psychology, and is passionate about helping officers navigate the demands of the profession while maintaining long-term wellness.
